At times life takes us through unpleasant paths and windings which we wish we would never have to go through. Unfortunately, we are left with no other choice other than to move on rather than accepting defeat.
Last couple of days, I witnessed tensed moments when I observed what was happening around the world, countries affecting defeat, economies fluctuating, families grieving, lives gripped with anxiety and fear over the uncertain future.
As these thoughts keep rushing to my mind, I was reminded to recollect all the good things God has done in my life. Often we look at the negativity and forget to recall the positive moments in our life. My thoughts traversed to my birth, from being a miracle baby - to a childhood and school life where many feared I would be a failure and if there is any hope left.
God restored the hopes and took away the hidden fears behind our minds. God turned all trials into triumphs to prove that He is in complete control of the unknown future. What God has planted, it will thrive!
God re-wrote how I thought my story would unfold. Whatever I thought was nearly impossible, from education, career to marriage, He made it possible. I’m sure whatever future holds too is safe in His Hands.
Dear friends, when the world gives us abundant reasons to be disheartened and distressed, if you trust God and look into the amazing ways He has led you so far, you will get a positive perspective. This is the perspective that is strengthening me today as I look into the future.
“ There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:18)
Embrace the current situation and look from God’s perspective!
